Mumbai : It was a moment of pride for all  who returned to Hinduism  here on Sunday.( 26th June 11 ) All of those who reconverted back to Hinduism belong to extremely poor strata of society made this decision  after they failed to achieve equal social status in the faith which was introduced to them by their mentors who once came to them as saviours in white cloak. The programme was organized at Wageshwari devi temple at Filmcity road in Goregaon East,Mumbai by Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Every one had their own stories of fraud & deception.

The former “Baywatch” serial star, also an activist of the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) wrote a letter to the prime minister asking him to urge people to reject all leather products. “The reverence and love for animals felt by people in your beautiful country is deeply moving, yet one thing fills me and all compassionate people with horror: India’s leather trade. It still profits from the skins of animals who have been transported to and killed in slaughterhouses, including illegal ones, in unspeakably cruel ways,” Anderson wrote in the letter, a copy of which is with IANS.

The construction of the new ashram guesthouse consisting of 8 rooms (phase-IA) with attached toilet and bath is proceeding well. By the blessings of Gurupadar and Swamiji, two sample rooms are ready, despite great constraints of manpower availability (due to the farming season). Two more are nearing completion and foundations have been laid for all the eight rooms.

Once ready it will provide necessary privacy for devotees and their families to stay for longer durations. Moreover one can avail of spiritual and natural healing by just being in the ambience of the ashram .The fresh air, clean river water, and divine aura of the temple shall rejuvenate all.
