A , magnificent 50 foot high Sree Neelakantha Mahadeva Mandir shaped like Shivalinga with shrines of:

Lord Shiva, Shivalinga, Gurupeeth, Ganapati, Karthikeya, Sita-Rama-Anjaneya and Ashta-Digpaal

was constructed and Prana Pratishtha was done by Sree Ramadasa Mission in Surwari , Uttar Pradesh (near Faizabad). The Special Havans and Poojas were conducted from 1 week before the Pratishtha continuously till the Pratishtha took plkace on March 13th, 2008.

In divine remembrance of our Param Pujya Swamiji, we have installed within the Ramagiri Mandir a permanent Sreekovil (pooja enclosure) having the Praana Pratishtha of Poojya Swamiji. The pratishtha was done by Swami Krishnananda Saraswathy amongst chanting of divine mantras by numerous devotees gathered at the Temple. At the same time construction of a Jyoti-enclosure was commenced, which will contain the Jyoti-Swaroopa presence of all Divinity. Swamiji’s devotees firmly believe and constantly experience His presence among them and now we may all look to Swamiji’s temple to worship His lotus feet.

The 43rd Mahasamadhi day of Gurupadar was celebrated on 26th May in Ramagiri and all our other ashrams in India and abroad.

The day was a day of worship and penance for many devotees, with chanting of Lalithasahasranaama and Ramayana paaraayanam. A solemnness enveloped the minds of all devotees, some in the ashram, many in their homes, refreshing their minds with the memories of this ‘SAINT among saints’.
