A grand Navratri was celebrated at Ramagiri this year with the Pratishtha of Devi Ma at the temple , Havan and Poojas. Vijayadashami saw the faithful rejoice and pray and those present took the blessings of Vidyarambham from Param Poojya Swami Krishnanandji.
All the Ashram inmates and visitors wrote Hari Shree Ganapataye Namah in a plate full of rice in various languages of India, with the blessings of Poojya Swamiji.

Lord Krishna’s birth on Janmashtami was celebrated at midnight at Ramagiri with the recital of his incarnation followed by Deeparadhana. This was followed by Aradhana & Sree Rama Pattabhisheka. A special ‘Vada Mala’ was offered to Lord Hanumanji.
Lord Rama and Lord Krishna are one and the same, having incarnated on earth to destroy Adharma and re-establish Dharma.
The following day was the call to local children of the Adivasi Vadi to become Gopas and break the Dahi Handi tied up at a great height. After much acrobatic efforts the task was done amidst showers of water. The Swami Sathyananda Saraswathi Mandap echoed with shouts of Jai Shree Krishna. Then Prasad was distributed by Poojya Swami Krishnananda Saraswathiji. Finally there was Annadan in the dining hall.

A summary of the grand Gurupoornima Celebrations at See Ramadasa Ashram , Ramagiri , on 15 July 2011:
The morning Pooja was completed by 8:00 a.m. followed by the starting of the recital of the Adhyatma Ramayana. On every Saturday as well as every important holy day the entire Adhyatma Ramayana is recited in Malayalam followed by the Pattabhishek Pooja of Sree Rama Chandra.

On the 30th of July 2011, 2000 people came to Ramagiri to perform the Karkataka Vav Bali (shraad).

Mangalya Mahotsav was conducted with a great response for the month of May 2011 at Ramagiri. Under H. H. Swami Krishnananda Saraswati’s guidance numerous souls podered over their future and many came to conclusions. 5 marriages were decided on this auspicious day.
More and more people have decided to avail of this generous facility given by the ashram for the welfare of the people. Those who are needy can avail of the grand marriage hall free of cost.
