Param Poojya Swami Krishnananda Saraswathiji was the chief guest at the Onam celebration meeting on 4th Sept 2011 arranged by the Kerala cell of the Mumbai section of BJP. Other chief guests at the function were Sree V. Muralidharan (BJP Kerala President) and Adv. Raj K. Purohit (President of BJP, Mumbai section and ex-Minister of Maharashtra). Other eminent guests included Sree K. D. Chandran, eminent film personality. The function was organised by Sree Muralidharan, the Kerala cell President.
In a thirty minute long address to an enthralled audience Swamiji powerfully expoused the need for a strong Hindu set up as well as the need for Malayalis living in Mumbai to integrate seamlessly with the Maharashtrians, without losing their roots.
